The VICAV project has been dedicated to the use of the guidelines of the Text Encoding Inititative in all of its dictionaries.\n\tThe team have documented their work in a document which exemplifies the most important structures contained in these dictionaries. The VICAV Dictionary Encoding Guidelines are meant to allow researchers in similar projects to draw on the experiences of our work."@en; n1:hasOwner ; n1:hasRightsHolder ; a n1:TopCollection; n1:hasAccessRestrictionSummary "öffentlich 5"@de, "public 5"@en; n1:hasCompleteness "project in progress"@en; n1:hasDescription "VICAV is an international endeavour aiming at the collection of digital language resources documenting varieties of spoken Arabic. While in principle being open to any type of text, we currently focus on bibliographical data, on so-called language profiles, standardised feature lists and lexical data.\n\tVICAV has a strong methodological component focusing on the development of digital data and tools. A large part of these efforts is concentrated on modelling data and providing documentation for developmental and pedagogical purposes. VICAV is strongly committed to the Text Encoding Initiative (TEI). We provide a detailed documentation of our lexical data.\n\tVICAV has been started as a co-operation between the Department of Oriental Studies of the University of Vienna and the Austrian Centre for Digital Humanities of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ACDH-OeAW). The institutional frame of the project is defined by a repository for digital research data, a University and a national Academy, all of which is meant to ensure long-term availability of both data and the web-interface."@en; n1:hasLifeCycleStatus ; n1:hasOaiSet ; n1:hasBinarySize "37017513"^^; n1:hasSubject "polyglot dictionary"; n1:aclRead "public"; n1:hasUpdatedRole "uczeitschner"; n1:hasCurator , ; n1:createdBy "admin".
